Off We Go!

The Milk Truck is loaded and we're off to the Chaminade! I wonder what goodness those talented chefs will make with all this fresh stuff!

Farm to Table Dinner

Seven Cats Farm is thrilled (and a LOT nervous) to be able to provide produce and be the featured grower for the Farm to Table dinner this Friday at The Chaminade Resort and Spa. She Said our Lettuce is Beautiful

Our first sale of the season was to The Chaminade Resort and Spa. Executive Chef Beverlie Terra requested 30 heads of lettuce.

We harvested in the morning, rinsed and boxed right after, then packed up the milk truck and drove to Santa Cruz.

When we got to the kitchen, Chef said 'Okay, let's see what you have'. I was nervous. What if she didn't like  the lettuce? I wanted her to like it, to 'really really like' it. When the box was opened, she said 'Oh, that's beautiful'. Talk about a proud farmer. Phew!
